Pool and "The Panel"

This weekend some of the guys went out and shot some pool. We finally found a place to play some billiards in Dublin at this large pool hall on Camden Street across from Anseo. My next goal is find a place for darts, although it's very unlikely according to locals. They say they removed darts from pubs because Guinness and sharp flying objects don't combine too well.

We also got tickets to a production of a comedy television show called "The Panel." It's basically 5 young, hip Irish TV personalities chatting about the daily news with a couple of guest "celebrities." I honestly was only able to comprehend about 50% of what was being said because the hosts talked so damn fast in their thick Irish accent. Also a lot of Irish-specific jokes. All in all, a good experience though.

Josh visited Dublin

My friend Josh made an impromptu visit to Dublin on his way to Manchester to play a tournament. He was here for the weekend, and we toured around the city and explored the Dublin night life. Good times.
