Thanksgiving in Paris

Katharine came to visit over Thankgiving. We took a trip to Paris, which was very nice. I was suprised to find that the Parisians were very friendly. My French friends warned me that Parisians were not the friendliest of all people, but we had nothing but good encounters with the locals. We ended up taking a tour of the Notre Dame and had a quick run through of the Louvre. Unfortunately, time did not permit us to spend more than an hour and a half in the Louvre. We walked through outdoor markets, strolled along the Seine, ate at French brasseries, tasted wines and cheeses and fresh baguettes. Great little trip.
